Too young

Hi! I agree that the book may be too "old" for most of your kids. But the main issue is the contreversial subject. While this is one of the best books out there to inspire reading, the "hype" is also out there concerning it. I would caution against using it unless you made sure it was ok first. Read alouds fall into that catagory of "forced listening" yada yada yada. And I would hate for a parent to get you into trouble for something that was started with nothing but good intentions.
