I just finished a unit on bats. We read many non-fiction books and after each one we recorded new facts on a large sheet of paper. Another good fiction book is Rufus. When I Lived With Bats is a really good fiction book that gives lots of information. We made a bat cave in one corner of the room and posted the info we learned in the bat cave along with bats we made to hang in the cave. The students learned lots of details about bats and how they help people.
