You absolutely need the book, Guiding Readers and Writers GL 3-6. It is written by two Reading Recovery teacher leaders, Fountas and Pinnell. There's lots of wonderful information for all your students as well as those who are at risk. I think if you go to the Heinemann website, you'll find the chapters outlined. If you don't, email or post again. I'll get them to you, so you can decide if it would be helpful. From there, there are LOTS of other professional resources for helping you help your at risk students...just post or email, with what you need. ;-D Take care.
