I have planning time each morning from 8:40 to 9:30 so my day with students begins at 9:309:30 - 9:40 warm ups (jump the tramp, walk the balance beam, sign in) all ot activities 9:40 story 9:50 verbal language skills 9:55 visualizing and verbalizing (more language and comprehension skills) 10:00 - 10:30 Project read 10:30 - 10:45 recess 10:45 dolch word practice 10:55 - another project read group 11:15 - spelling 11:30 - spelling group 2 11:45 - reading 3rd group 12:10 - lunch until 12:50 12:50 - 1:15 board work 1:15 - handwriting 1:30 - several math groups until | | 2:40 2:40 - recess 2:55 - 3:40 writing skills and projectswe also have interruptions daily for speech, social work, ot and art. We have art 2 x's a week some children have speech 3 x's a week. All of my kids are mainstreamed for gym, music, spanish and computer lab.
