Students may enter the classroom at 7:30, begin work on DOL and DOM; however, most of my students don't arrive in the classroom until about 7:45.7:45-8:00 - Unpack, sharpen pencils, get books and assignments ready for | the day. Begin DOL, DOM. 8:00-8:15 - Finish DOL and DOM, read silently, use bathroom. 8:15-9:15 - Check DOL and DOM. Math 9:15-9:45 - Guided Reading 9:45 - Bathroom break/journal writing 10:00-10:05 - share journals 10:05 - clean up 10:10 - leave for special subject areas: Monday, P.E.; Tuesday, Art; Wednesday, music; Thursday and Friday, science lab. 10:55 - Self-selected | |
reading11:10 - clean up 11:15 - leave for lunch 11:20 - lunch 11:50 - bathroom 11:55 - read aloud 12:15 - computer lab (Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays) social studies (Wednesdays, Fridays) 12:45 - recess 1:10 - science 1:45 - guided writing 2:15 - prepare to go home 2:20 - car riders dismissed 2:25 - bus riders dismissed
