I HAVE TRIED THAT METHOD WITH MY OWN CHILD AND IT HELPED HER A GREAT DEAL. ALSO I SHOW MY KIDS HOW TO START ADDING IF THEY DO NOT KNOW THOSE FACTS EX. 7 INTO 435 START ADDING 7+7=14+7=21+7=28+7=35+7=42 Now go back and count how many 7's did you use? They soon learn that the process better and realize that it is time consuming. The game of racing against the clock works well also. The next best thing is to buy a rapping tape after they understand the process.
