eating fractions
By Rebecca

Clip to ScrapBook
There is a book called Eating Fractions. It is very simple in text but uses real kids on each page. It goes through several foods that they divide (the recipes are at the back of the book). I just did "part to whole" and "part to group" with my kids. I used hershey candy bars for part to whole and m-n-m's for part to group. I had them do several things with their candy and they enjoyed it because they understood better AND got to eat them!
