full day vs half day

I have taught first grade for many years. I honestly have seen no difference in full day or half day kindergarteners. I get children in my class from our own full day session and children from the public schools half day session and there is really not difference. Our kindergarterners spend most of the afternoon napping. This in itself can be a waste for some kids don't nap so they are a problem. The teacher makes them all rest.
