Saxon
By Special Ed.

Clip to ScrapBook
I have used Saxon math as the district adopted program for 2 years. I used it with a few students previously who were very strong in math but were not able to be mainstreamed due to behavior issues. It was quick teaching and then letting them get into the work. It does require reading to most of my students as the reading level is at grade level where theirs is not. I have found that it is successful; students learn the information but it does have a boring component to it. I don't use the "script" but rather use it to get me started on how they will see the problems presented and then I teach the concept.
