Saxon Math

I use Saxon Math for first graders (our whole school uses it) and I like it. I agree it's very scripted, but you can easily drop that out. I had some activities, but I really enjoy the program and my students enjoy it too. They look forward to math time because they know exaclty what to do for the most part. I do with highly at-risk children, but most are at or slightly below grade level and I feel Saxon fits their needs and they seem to match our State Standards. I don't like the K program, but if you aren't using it for K it's fine.
