goals and objectives
By Rebecca

Clip to ScrapBook
Goals are more broad. They are basically what you want to accomplish such as in a Unit. Then you set objectives to reach those goals. They must be "measureable".
(Goals might be to "understand" something, to "know" something or to have an "appreciation for" something but that is not measureable--that's where your Level of Bloom's comes in for your objectives--the learner will compare, the learner will list, the learner will explain, the learner will create---in other words, you can tell that your students can compare, list, explain, and create where you can't see them "understand"). This is the way it was always explained in all my classes and is expected in my teaching. Hope this helps.
