I agree. Caller ID is one of the best investments I've ever made! I have a very distinguishable surname that is listed in the phone book, so parents can find it easily. I do not answer calls from parents when their names show up on my ID box. I wonder if it would help to ask your principal to send home a generic reminder to all families in the school that it is school policy to call teachers during certain hours and to pleasantly, but bluntly remind them that home numbers are off limits?
