An easy spelling game that I found is called "Pass the Pad". You can play it as a class or in small group. All you need is a pad of paper and a tape recorder. Put a fun cassette in the recorder and start the tape. The students pass the pad to each other. When the music stops, the person with the pad writes the spelling word that you call out and then tells the group how they spelled it so they can check. It is real easy and my second graders love it! I got the idea from a book called "25 Super Spelling Games". It's published by Scholastic and is for grades 2-5.
