ability grouping

Clip to ScrapBook
Emma,
Go online and search ability grouping and tracking. You will find loads of research that supports your views. I did some masters research in this area and found that the few who did benefit from ability grouping were the gifted students. The other 95% of your class are being cheated by being ability grouped. Bring some of your research to the other teachers and perhaps you can sway them. Good luck!
