Presentation Ideas...
By Krissy

Clip to ScrapBook
What country are you thinking of presenting. Kids could...
-dress up
-make a giant flag
-recite words in that country's language
-talk about food that country eats
-sing a song from that country
-count
to ten in that country's language
-be wearing or displaying a craft from that country

I just finished up a Christmas Around the World project where my students did a similar thing in our classroom. If you would like to e-mail me and let me know what country, I may have some more specific ideas for you.

Also, the RESPECT presentation. I have seen a really neat one on HONESTY that

could be done the same way. Your whole class lines up in front of the school. You choose one student to represent each letter in the word and they can either hold a giant cardboard sign of the letter or wear it on a t=shirt. Then, give each of them a part to memorize like "The R in respect is for being RESPONSIBLE when other people need help." Have each student step up and say their part. In between each letter have the rest of the class say a part in unison, like "Showing respect tells others that you care" or something like that. Hope I have not rambled to much. Feel free to e-mail me if it is unclear!
