a few ideas

I do not have a wealth of info but here are a few suggestions off the top of my head. You could start by looking at/reading Madeline books. Anatole of Paris is another cute story. Find france on the globe and play some french
cd's or tapes in class(Edith Piaf) teach them Frere Jacques(my spelling on that is atrocious but it is supposed to be the french version of "are you sleeping"!)
You can do all sorts of cooking projects or keep it very simple and have French bread and cheese in a picnic in the room. Fashion berets out of felt for each child. For math you could look at the eiffel tower and its
use of triangles(discuss the power of the triangle?) and perhaps have children go on a triangle search in your building or have them find the shape in their homes, neighborhood, etc..
See if any of your students relatives speak french and would come in for a day. You could get a primary french dictionary and label items in your room with their french name; the kids could make up the labels and introduce the word to the class. Our second grade teacher is fluent and always writes a few words in French in the morning message(you could start with the greeting)
I hope this helps a little.
