Hello fellow Texas teacher. Yes, the lovely TAAS. What I have been doing with my second graders is having them use their time order words (First, second, then, next, finally) to begin their sentences, and then in a sentence right after this (or combine it into one sentence) write why you have to do this step.

EX: Second, run the comb under water. If you do this it will help your hair stay down.
