Jobs

Clip to ScrapBook
Heather,

Hang in there, the 'perfect' job for you is out there. Sometimes it takes patience. I personally feel that I have found my position. This is my first year teaching and I love my school. I love the staff, the administrators
and especially my students. Of course there are always those days or those people that try to 'try' me. But then one of my students come up and gives me a hug, etc. (I teach junior high in an 98% minority school).
I drive an hour and 15 minutes one way everyday. The drive is quite nice. I get to see the sun rising every morning over beautiful fields. In the evening, if I
am there long enough, I see it setting. Or I get a time to reflect over my day, etc. My only complaint about the drive is the wear and tear it is having on my car. I do get a stipend for traveling, but it is not even close to the cost of the upkeep. But my students are worth it. At the present, I would not even consider teaching somewheres else.

Good luck in your search.
