I just had my first baby in August, and this is my 2nd year teaching. It was tough being out and planning, but it's doable. The hard part for me was being out all summer, and then returning for the last month of my pregnancy, but I did great. No high BP or swelling or anything. Going back was the hard part because they are SO hard to leave! They truly win your heart, and I think it was harder leaving him to go back to work than it was to have him. Good luck, and just remember that babies grow too fast to spend all your time at school planning. Spend every second with that baby, school will wait,.
