I've actually been pregnant twice while teaching--once while student teaching, and again last year. I teach 5-6 grades and they actually thought it was very cool. I didn't tell them until I was about 6 months along (although
I don't know how they didn't pick it up, as my aide and I discussed it daily). One fun thing that we did was I had them pick their favorite boys and girls names. I made them list five each. Then, I told them if I ended up using anyone them, they would get a treat. (I actually needed this--as my husband and I couldn't decide on a "boy" name). (I had a girl). I've also heard of

people having students predict due dates and size of the baby. I knew a teacher who let the kids guess, then measure the size of her stomach as time went on. That's too much sharing for me. . .but it worked for her. Anyway, it is a fun (for the most part) time, and remember to enjoy it, and certainly, take care of yourself. Best of luck!
