Hi. I have also included "Book It" in my classroom. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. One thing I took into consideration were working parents and what time they usually arrive home. My heart goes out to these parents who have to arrive at home late in the evenings to read. I personally limited the program to 4-5 books per month. Depending on the first months feedback. However, i also read in class to give students whose parents really are limited in time to sit diwn to read with them. Book It is a beautiful program to encourage students to read.
