My children were in year 1. They had a signer per month. The book would be written in, a place for a parent to sign each night and then in the morning a place for the listener to sign. The listener was either me or another parent. As I say my children were in year 1, parents came in, in the morning with their children so they could hear one or two kids to read plus I live in Australia. But it worked well for me. i marked in if chn were absent but the rule was every part had to be signed or no free voucher. Harsh but it really worked.
