Hi! I live in South Jersey, and although I am not at the beach, I can tell you that many of the towns down there are very nice. I would not reccommend living in AC. The last poster is correct, Ocean City is nice. There is also Somers Point, Longport, Avalon, Stone Harbor to name a few. As for getting a teaching job, there are jobs advertised all over New Jersey with immediate start dates. I don't know your area of expertise, but I am sure with a little looking that you shouldn't have a problem. Are you certified to teach in NJ? If not, go to the Department of Education's page for NJ and see what you are required to take to get certified! Good luck and you will love it here! It is a "special" kind of place with lots of traditions!
