I'm assuming that 'teaching practice' is what I know as student teaching where you work in classroom under direct supervision of a co-operating teacher. If you're coming into an established classroom in mid-year, you may be better off familiarizing yourself with the behavior managemnet that the teacher has already established than trying to start up your own. In 10 weeks, the kids will only be strating to get the hang of it...and you'll be gone!
