Clip to ScrapBook
I have read the book to my second grade classes for the past 3 years. My children really enjoyed it and I had no complaints from parents. It is too difficult for many of my students to read alone so they really enjoyed listening to it. Some of the students would even follow along in their own books. They would also read it at home with their families to see what was going to happen next. There are other themes in the book besides witchcraft. My students completely understood that it was fiction. They loved it and are pressuring me to read the second one now, but I encouraged them to read it at home with their families and many of them are. What could be better than that?
