I also agree. I try to leave detailed plans and notations on the side are sufficient. I appreciate when papers collected and important notes are paperclipped on my desk so I can find them easily. I tend to overplan also so you may not get to everything. I also realize that "guest teachers" come with their own interests and talents and may chose to do an art lesson, etc. or reward the class for cooperative behavior. Just leave a short note explaining your reason.
