Neglecftful Parents Who Don't Want Teachers' Help
By A Very Hard Working Teacher

Clip to ScrapBook
Well, I've got one who knows that her child is in the wrong, but does not want to face it.

I've noticed that parents who do not want to help their kids aslo don't want you to tell them how they can help THEIR kids. I find
parents want us to do miracles by having their kids learn everything at achool, but they are too lazy to help their kids at home--- single parent or not. I'm not single, but my husband works about 75 hours a week. So, I really am on am own most of the time. I mange to clean, cook(sometimes), and do homework with my daughter. Not to mention, I've got to plan and grade, ect.

If you point

out a problem area to a parent-- trust me they will want to get back at that teacher by complaining about everything under the sun. That's a fact.

I believe that if you do not make sure your child is doing ALL assignments then you're a neglectful parent, and I don't care what's going on in your personal life!
