Multi age 3/4
By Debbie

Clip to ScrapBook
Hi Kelly,
I'm a multi age 3/4 teacher, and I LOVE it. My first suggestion is to obtain a copy of your district/state standards at both GLs. Copy them 1 sided then cut them into categories...We started with the Science
and Social Studies curriculum, because we use the Language Arts/Math blocks to teach the content areas. We assembled a huge web on butcher paper integrating all the content as best we could, with the process standards around the outside (as we would be teaching those with whatever content that was chosen). I also bought a copy of Guiding Readers and Writers GL 3-6 which is helping me
transition the literacy workshop I'd used with the little ones to an older group of children. It's helped lots. If you'd like an example of the standards integration web we did, daily schedule, whatever might help, please post again or email...Take care! ;-D
