I showed your message to all of my collegues at work yesterday and everyone was inspired by your writing. Thank you for writing words that so many of us think . Are there enough teachers out there willing to "step outside" the box? Does the lack of respect for teachers have anything to do with it being an overwhelmingly female profession? Are most females happy keeping their mouth shut and "playing the game?" Unfortunately the lack of respect for the teaching profession starts with us. I salute you Dedicated teacher. I hope more teachers become less critical and more willing to earn some repect for the teaching profession.
