getting an interview/job

I'm sure it has nothing whatsoever to do with you personally. I have found it is very political. You have to have someone "pulling" for you in the system it seems. Two girls I went to school with got hired last year in the district I student taught in - one girl's mother called an administrator and the other one's mother works in the system. I felt bad at the time, but realized there is a place for me and I will get a job on my own merits. You can ask why, but you probably won't get a satisfactory answer. I wish you luck! Stay positive!
