OMG!!!
By Andrea

Clip to ScrapBook
You win, Eric----this has got to be THE WORST HORROR STORY IN THE HISTORY OF SUBSTITUTE TEACHING!!!!!!
Do you have any strength left to fill us in on what happened PM?
For one, I cannot believe the teacher neglected to leave you any plans & told you to WING IT! This class is crying out for TOTAL STRUCTURE. I assume they are dealt with so roughly because everyone is at the end of their rope with this out-of-control group. But it seems that treating them this way certainly isn't working & only serves to exacerbate the problem. Usually I have lots of advice to offer, but I am at just as much a loss as you are with what I have heard you describe! Were there ANY nice children in this room?
