Private School website
By Amie

Clip to ScrapBook
One of the best ways to find a private school job is to look at the National Association of Independent Schools website (www.nais.org) or the websites of any of the regional groups (SAIS, AISNE, AISGW. etc.) They often list
private school openings and provide links to school websites. Sometimes schools will list openings on their websites as well.

Another way to search is to use a placement agency, like Carney Sandoe. Most agencies don't charge you anything; the schools pay. You can just go on line, enter your information, and they will forward it to schools that have appropriate openings. A teacher

at my school used one, and she now has a great job lined up for next year.

As for Catholic Schools, probably the best way to find information is through the diocese.

I've taught in private school for eight years, and I absolutely love it. I would definitely recommend it. Good luck!
