zoophonics
By Betsy

Clip to ScrapBook
Yes! I use it, and I LOVE it! I wouldn't teach kindergarten without it! This was my first year of teaching kindergarten (only taught 1&2 before), and I was amazed at how quickly my kids picked up the letter sounds. They
all knew their letter sounds (all 26!!) before Christmas. It was amazing! I mostly used the letter cards with the pictures and the letters. I only have the small kit, and I'm not sure they even sell it anymore, but that's really all you need. The other kits have more stuff, but if you're just looking to teach kids the sounds of the letters, that's all you really need. I also used
the blacklines to make bingo cards, and we cut them apart to use for spelling cvc words. I now play a game with them kind-of like charades, where I spell out a word, only using the zoophonics actions (no sounds), and they sound it out to figure out my word. They love it! Little ones love animals and they love to move, so this program is perfect, I think!!
