Thanks,

I have been trying some different things lately, Today I put up the word free time and three dashes and I was erasing half a dash at a time. (they were only in first grade and it was the first time this was done
for them according the aide) It seemed to work okay, most of the kids tried really hard. Everytime I would erase something some of them would get upset but none of them argured with me because they knew they deserved it. Thankfully they did get outside for a little bit. I told them If most of them were good then the ones that weren't were coming out with us and would sit there and
watch everyone play. That seemed to do the trick.

Yesterday I looked after a 2nd grade class for the morning, a class I had before and the same girl gave me a lot of attitude when I talked to the teacher after she came back she told the girl to come up there, asked her what she did to me and then made her write an apology note to me for being so rude. That made me feel good that at least the teacher was not going to let her get away with being so rude. So at least I do get some respect from the teachers now if the kids will just give some :-) I can always dream lol.
