hard to believe
By Suzanne

Clip to ScrapBook
It's just so hard to believe that parents will actually believe their own child over the adult teacher. This is one reason why I have stopped sending notes home and making phone calls instead. When you send home a note, the child often twists the story so that it makes him/her sound better and that the teacher really doesn't know anything. When you call, you speak directly to the parent and present the story without the child's bias entering the picture.

What parents also don't stop to consider is that everything we do is for the benefit of these kids! If we call or write to explain a problem, it is ONLY because we want to HELP the child!!! I find it hard to understand why parents always want to find everybody but their own child to blame.
