Some ideas By Barb

Well, you'll definately have to make some adaptations for each project you do. For the student that is blind, keep in mind activities that are multi-sensory...such as any textured art (mix finger-paint with sand, rice, etc, sand art, foam, glitter, rocks, fabric, lace, beans, etc), have objects/utensils that are easily held with big handles, you can try stringing beads for jewelry, keychains, etc, any work with play doh or clay, paper mache, etc. Have them color over difference surfaces to make raised drawing (sidewalk, tree bark, etc). collages, drawing with chalk, finger paint, drawing shapes in shaving cream or whipped cream, etc.hope these ideas help! I'd love to hear what other people suggest too!
