What to hang on the walls By Debbie

Hi Tara, Nearly all the things hanging on my wall are done by the kids. We started the year by doing a getting to know you activity (for 4th part of the curriculum is AZ state / history stuff so we did Family Great Seals (each tribe and state has one). The kids used whatever art materials available to make a 2-D seal that still hangs on the wall. In the middle of this wall, there are two framed art posters by one of my favorite Native American artists, R.C. Gorman. I put fadeless paper and a generic border on another board so whatever else went up/down looked OK thru out the year. We hang our | | author study projects/book projects with reactions and summaries. Colored paper and a cute font for the typed responses adds accent. Our word wall is constructed as the kids study mathematics/science and need these terms (also on fadeless paper). Whenever we begin a new 'big idea', a wonders web is constructed and hung on the wall. Hope this helps. ;-D
