Year Long Theme.

I love doing themes in my room. In Australia this year it is Year of the Outback. So for my theme for the year and it is the first time I have done it for a whole year we are doing Australia. In term 1 we did the Great Barrier Reef and the oceans-fish etc. This term we are looking at Australian Animals. We will look at Mem Fox a famous Australian author. Landmarks of our big cities, the Outback - desert etc.
If you did a year long topic on eg animals you could look at wild, zoo, your own countries animals, insects, sea life, life in the air, dinosaurs, pets, farm, etc You need to start broad and work inwards. Good luck.
