I am currently a K teacher for the 2nd year. I taught first grade before that. Both grade levels are very challenging. Personally, I tend to believe that first grade is more challenging. I've heard many people say, and I have to agree, that first grade is the hardest to teach. I love both grades. It is very rewarding to know, as a K teacher, that you are helping to lay the foundation for their years ahead! It would be a tough decision. Good Luck!
