phys ed
By Rae

Clip to ScrapBook
I agree, this trends shows up in quite a few places. I do think that to teach kindergarten, a complete understanding of child development is paramount. More child dev. is introduced in early childhood majors than in elementary
majors.

With that said, I think a specialization in physical education could be quite beneficial in an early childhood environment. You probably have those children move quite more (which is very much lacking in most k programs) and engage in physical tasks/play. I think your specialization could prove to be quite an asset to you and other k teachers.
I definitely know I would

not be qualified to teach phys ed. I am a bit uncoordinated (lol) however I would think it would be absolutely necessary to have a degree in phys ed in order to teach it.
