I think you will like Everyday Math just fine. I am only on chapter 3 of MOT. I was enjoying it a whole lot better before I looked over my students' communication arts end-of-the-year tests. I am feeling like the world's worst comm. arts teacher, and here I sit reading while Keene is describing these wonderfully creative, highly effective teachers. It's kind of depressing. I guess it just proves how badly I need to make changes. so I'll keep reading to learn. Happy fishing!!!!!! Elaine
