Good Plan
By Crazier . . .

Clip to ScrapBook
Carolyn,
I agree with you about setting limits. The day before I posted my original vent, I did stand in the doorway like you said. My kids thought I'd lost my mind. I know I've just have let things get out of control
this year. We had a class meeting and discussed options for solving the problem. Then we had DARE Camp for the next 2 days, so the day's beginnings have been crazy anyway. Monday, we do the New Plan.

One problem is that students come into the classroom at 8:20, school does not officially begin until 8:40, and we have to be somewhere everyday for specials at 8:45. There is no

REAL time to start an morning assignment, and if I give DOL or something like that, some kids finish before others even get there. I end up chasing unfinished DOLs all week long. Chances are, I won't have this same schedule next year, but . . . Any ideas in case I should?

Thanks for the help,
Crazier . . .
