Unfortunately I visited in the late fall so it wasn't as pretty as I've heard it can be in the Summer. We made it down to the zoo area but not inside the zoo, that area was very nice. I was only there for a few days (my| grandfather's funeral) so we didn't do much sightseeing. My brother has visited there a couple of other times and each time found new things he liked more about the city. I think it is a city you need to spend time in to really get a good feel of what it's all about. I do like Manitoba overall. My father was born in Flin Flon, so we traveled up there one year and it was very interesting | | and unique. We haven't had quite the temperature swings up in Northern Alberta, but Southern Alberta was hit with 30 to 40 cm of snow earlier in the week. It's been a cold Spring for us overall - no buds yet and no green grass, but the last two days have been beautiful. Clouds were rolling in tonight so we are expecting some rain for the next few days. I live in Fort Vermilion, Alberta (Alberta's oldest community). I have a bit of information on our area on my school's web page, if you are interested just send me an email. I love this site too and I'm glad there's a Canadian connection. It's not always busy, but it's nice to be able to discuss Canadian things from time to time.
