workbooks
By Rebecca

Clip to ScrapBook
Just to make sure you understand, I'm not the original poster(Rebecca) but yet another Rebecca who has been coming here forever.

Our school has already adopted this series and we got workbooks in the deal for 6 years.
At the time we didn't know that they didn't make workbooks for the other levels. The way it worked this year was we grouped for reading, me with the high group and using the workbooks(I work in a low socioeconom. area so our high isn't what others consider "high"), another teacher with the middle using photocopies, and the lower level in another class using photocopies . Next year we are
"detracking" and will have our own students for reading----grouping them accordingly in our own room.
My dilemma will actually begin next year when we have all these books that we received but not all will be working on the same level. What I thought I might do is use the workbooks with everyone--working the pages together for the lower students then copying the lower level pages for the skill to take as grades.
Hope I haven't confused you toooooo much. Have fun--this really is a good series!!
