jury duty

I had jury duty for the month of August one time. They wanted me for July but I had a family vacation already planned and two weeks of summer workshops I enrolled in for school. I called and they happily rescheduled me for August. I told them that I could only do the first three weeks because school started the last week of
August. They were very understanding. My first day I was on a case. I loved it!I truly felt powerful. I really felt that the person on trial future was in my hands. It made me proud to be an American! It was fun being with the other jurors. Now they do jury duty for a week(which is good not too many people can complain about a week). You are responsible for the week. I would gladly serve again.
