My thoughts
By Mrs. B

Clip to ScrapBook
Patti,

I'm very sorry to hear about your family member who passed away.

If I were in this situation, I would explain to my children that I am taking care of some family business out of town. My kids wouldn't pry too much beyond that explanation. If this were a close family member to me, I suppose I might even go so far as to say someone whom I love has passed away, but in very gentle terms so as to not overwhelm them. My only reason for doing that might be to explain why sometimes I might look a little sad or be away for a few days taking care of things. I think it's okay to be honest..just not give too many details, which of course is just my opinion.

Sending you peace...

Mrs. B
