You're in a pickle
By Kim

Clip to ScrapBook
Maybe you should talk to the principal and see if he/she would talk with the parents and explain that he had such a bad behavior problem (that probably happens at home as well) and that without help it will only get worse.
Imagine this kid as a teenager! It sounds like the dad thinks his sweetheart can do no wrong and he would be one of those parents of a criminal saying, "I just don't know what happened". If someone in authority like the principal can get him to see this, maybe he would be open to at least a teacher talking with him about his anger and how to control it. It really sounds like the dad
needs counseling too but I bet that would be impossible. Someone will have to get through to the father before the child gets older and way out of control. If a principal can't do it, the child services department might could try. It's very probable that as this child gets to pre-teen years (the age of 90% of the children I see) he will be so out of control that he will be sent off to a control facility. I've seen it happen many times. The thing to remember is that the father is probably angry and HATES the mother too and he is probably hurting which would make it hard to get through to him. I wish you luck but most of all I wish this family luck.
