Hi Debbie,Yes, I am a reading recovery teacher. I just finished my training year this week! Our certification ceremony is next week. So you know what sort of year I had! But it has been a really valuable experience. | I can't remember who led the session on Guiding Parents Through Guided Reading...I didn't attend someone from our area did and shared the fabulous handout! The conference was excellent! We didn't have too far to travel and it was well worth it. I don't have Guiding Readers & Writers but I know a lot of you are reading it. Maybe I'll have to get it...I only have about 10 books | |
I want to read this summer plus do a data base of all the activities I have gleaned from my many resource books and align them with our state standards. Think I'll be busy this summer?!? I think I am really going to enjoy Scaffolding Young Writers. I started it at conference, but it is making much more sense now! Wonder why! Smiles,
