fast-growing seeds
By Dru

Clip to ScrapBook
rye grass seeds grow very quickly- 3-5 days. put sand or pea gravel in the bottom of a plastic cup for drainage, add potting soil to within an inch of the top. sprinkle seeds thickly on top, water and keep moist, but not soaking. place in a sunny spot. a cute activity is to decorate the cups or other pots you use to look like people or aliens or whatever and the growing grass becomes it's hair! students can even trim it with scissors!
marigolds also grow quickly
