staff?

I honestly don't consider myself staff at the school I work at (and I only sub at one). If I did, then I'd have to be part of the staff talent show! There are advantages!

I really don't think anyone there considers me staff either - since I get comments like "it would be fun to have you on staff." Maybe it's because I only work one or two days a week, but I sub because I enjoy not being obligated in the same way regular staff would. I'm a parent and PTA President at the school so my situation is probably different in that I know the staff well -but I still don't consider myself part of them.
